Expat Harem Contributors Strike Again!
Congratulations to three Expat Harem writers, whose travel tales appear in freshly released anthologies from Travelers’ Tales…

In November’s Encounters with the Middle East: True Stories of People and Culture that Help You Understand the Region, edited by Nesreen Khashan and Jim Bowman, Katherine Belliel’s funny story about how a bus trip from Bursa brings out her mothering instinct --“Instant Mother, Just Add Tea” -- appears, as does “Just Under Your Feet” by Tricia Venola, about a chunk of the fourth-century Magnaura Palace under a carpet shop in Istanbul's Sultanahmet neighborhood.

Kathleen Hamilton Gundogdu’s “Measuring Cups” about a rite of passage in Mexico City appears in A Woman's World Again: True Stories of World Travel, edited by Marybeth Bond, published in October.
