Orhan Pamuk's Translator Reviews Expat Harem in Cornucopia Magazine

Maureen Freely, professor, author, journalist, and translator of Orhan Pamuk's books Snow and Istanbul: Memories and the City, has reviewed Expat Harem in Issue 35 of Cornucopia Magazine, the publication for connoisseurs of Turkey and Turkish culture.

In her review, Freely finds "...insights from women who learn to read the cultural fine print." Welcome to the Official Blog of Tales from the Expat Harem!

The blog may be brand new, but the book already has a history. First published 6 months ago in Turkey, it now has three editions! The anthology has been on the English language bestseller list for 24 weeks in Turkey, and reached the #1 spot in January. It's also been translated into Turkish and released worldwide as 'Turkce Sevmek'. Today marks the publication of the North American edition by Seal Press.
