Editors Write About Istanbul for National Geographic Traveler
Expat Harem editors Anastasia M. Ashman and Jennifer Eaton Gökmen were recently honored to be chosen by National Geographic Traveler to contribute a comprehensive article about Istanbul.

Published in seven languages, National Geographic Traveler reaches more readers (6.8 million) and more travelers (3.9 million) than any other travel magazine in the world. The publication is part of the renowned National Geographic Society. Established in 1888, NGS is one of the world's largest not-for-profit educational and scientific organizations.

The first full-time editor of National Geographic Magazine, Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor, was born in Istanbul just a few miles from where the Expat Harem editors currently reside.
